100 Mile Mentor Training/Camping Weekend
(in preparation for the 100 Mile Mentor Ride at Hunting for Bigfoot in Wiggins Mississippi on October 17, 2020)
We have several Mentors around the Southeast that will be scheduling a weekend of training and camping that will allow endurance riders that are interested in preparing for their first 100 mile ride to come and receive coaching, suggestions, tips and other benefits from seasoned 100 mile riders (a/k/a Mentors. A Mentor for the purposes of the 100 Mile Mentor Ride is any AERC/SERA/SEDRA member that has completed 10 or more one day 100 mile rides). More of these weekends will be announced as we finalize the dates and locations. Make plans to attend at least one of these weekends and take advantage of the Mentor’s experience and knowledge to help you complete a 100 mile endurance ride.
Anyone making plans to participate in any of the 100 Mile Mentor Training/ Camping Weekends should have a reasonably fit horse and be serious about entering and completing a 100 mile ride at the Hunting for Bigfoot ride in October 2020 or another sanctioned 100 mile ride in 2020. The Mentors are donating their time and experience for FREE! If you’re not serious, don’t waste the Mentors’ time or use the slot for the limited number of participants.
